At Nammu, we do believe that a design system is not only essential for building a User Interface - UI but also for the speed and efficiency of the developers.
What is a design system ? Alla Kholmatova (2017) defines it as “a set of interconnected patterns and shared practices coherently organized”. A design system may include not only a UI
component library and a pattern library, but any other document defining the principles and rules guiding the work of the persons involved in building the software.
As a lot of ideas are first expressed on the paperboard, one approach on building a new software is to code component by component.
more information can be found on the Component Driven website.
At Nammu, we use the software Figma to draw all the components.
